Who we are
Lunaticks is a task manager operated from the United Kingdom. If you have a question about your data, use the feedback link at the bottom of any page and we'll get back to you.
What we collect
- Your account details: email address, display name and chosen username.
- The content you create: lists, tasks, notes, due dates, durations and priorities.
- Usage signals we need for the app to work: XP, streaks, badges and settings.
- Anything you send us deliberately, such as feedback messages and any screenshot you attach to them.
Why we use it
To run your account, store and show your tasks, keep your streaks and badges accurate, and reply to you when you contact us. We do not sell your data and we do not use your tasks for advertising.
AI features
Some features send the text of a task to an AI model so it can suggest first steps or pull tasks out of a screenshot you upload. Only what's needed for that request is sent, and it is not used to train models. If you connect an outside AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, you approve that connection yourself and can disconnect it at any time; while it is connected, that assistant can read and change your tasks on your behalf.
Sharing
Tasks you swap or lists you share are visible to the person you send them to, and only once they accept. The leaderboard is opt-in and shows your username, XP and streak only — never your tasks.
Where it's stored and how long
Your data is held in a managed, access-controlled database. We keep it while your account exists. Delete your account and your lists, tasks and stats are removed; backups roll off shortly afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you're in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.
Cookies
We use only what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the What's new page.
